KENYA TREKKING ADVENTURES
Enjoy breaking out of your day-to-day routine and exploring exotic landscapes
Walking is a superb way to see new places. On foot, you will see awesome scenery and wildlife, and meet local people, which you would miss out on when driving. Plus you get to leave the juddery jeeps behind – and experience a real sense of freedom.
Kilimanjaro is not the only mountain in East Africa. Mount Kenya is arguably more spectacular, with dramatic valleys, jagged peaks, tarns and waterfalls. It has more wildlife – yet a fraction of Kili’s climbers. Walking holidays take you up these little-traversed slopes, but also on walking safaris with Maasai guides, for a memorable experience.
When most people think of Kenya, they picture a sprawling savannah stuffed to the brim with zebra and lions. With the primal drama of lion, leopard, and cheetah hungrily following a sea of wildebeest so immense, at times it seems the earth itself is moving. The Great Migration, Africa's single most famous safari draw, occurs annually as animals travel between Tanzania's Serengeti and Kenya's Masai Mara Park reserve.
With its breath-taking landscape, world-class safaris and wildlife spotting as well as a beautiful coastline, Kenya is an incredible destination with a lot to offer.
Whatever it is that draws you to Kenya, let me take you there.

KENYA HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
There is more to Kenya than safaris: Adventure exists around every corner in and you're not likely to get bored!
- Camp out under the expansive starry sky of Masai Mara
- Go on a walking safari for a chance to spot the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard).
- Interact with the colourful nomadic Masai people and experience a traditional African bush way of life.
- Visit the local watering holes of Lake Bogoria and Lake Naivasha to have a splash with hippos and elephants at play.
- Sigh with wonder at an iconic African Sunset. Watch as the glowing ball of light sets majestically against the savannah grasses.
With 30 years of adventure travel experience, I select operators who deliver the best possible holidays for my clients. I remain independent and have the flexibility to provide you with the best package to suit your specific needs and budget. I search the whole market to find the best deals for every aspect of your trip so that you don’t have to, providing honest and impartial advice.
For every destination I plan, I ask operators for locally owned accommodation and local guides where the route allows, and I follow my Animal Welfare Policy on wildlife experiences. Where a holiday includes flights, it also includes a payment to Sustainable Travel International, a non-profit working to protect vulnerable destinations and the communities who live there. There is no opt-out, and I keep a record of each payment. You can find the Traveller’s Pledge and my full approach on my Responsible Travel page.
